Frankie and Alice movie synopsis: Frankie And Alice tells the story of Frankie Murdoch, a woman with multiple personality disorder who’s stuck in a fight to keep her racist alter-personality at bay. The picture looks to be an intense piece, and Berry seems the ideal fit for the role. Early critical praise also leads one to believe that Berry may well snag her second Academy Award.
The picture was directed by Geoffrey Sax, who works from a script penned by Cheryl Edwards, Marko King, Mary King, Jonathan Watters, Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. Stellan Skarsgard, Chandra Wilson, Matt Frewer, Phylicia Rashad and James Kirk co-star alongside Halle Berry.
Frankie and Alice will be released in limited theaters December 10th 2010 and will expand nationwide on February 4th 2011.
