Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood movie synopsis: Set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family's displeasure.

Additional Notes: If you aren’t prepared for Catherine Hardwicke’s rendition of Little Red Riding Hood - appropriately titled Red Riding Hood - you should probably get a glimpse at the new trailer that just arrived at Apple. It’s an attractive cut that offers a look at the stunning Amanda Seyfried as Valerie, and Gary Oldman as the mysterious Father Soloman.
Don’t expect to see too much of the big bad wolf on display here, but note the dazzling color contrast throughout the trailer. Also note the taut mood of the picture, which looks a bit like a mature Twilight. No shocker there, considering Hardwicke directed the first Twilight picture.
Red Riding Hood is headed our way in March, and, in addition to Amanda Seyfried and Gary Oldman, features Lukas Haas, Virginia Madsen, and Billy Burke.
